Ever Go to a Park, See a Family, Go To Another Park and See the Family Again?

Anyone experienced this? I just find it so funny. This keeps happening to me on repeated trips to Disney World. It's happened about three or four times in a row, and probably more had I been paying attenion in the past.

From my latest trip in May, I went to MGM and on the backlot tour. It was the first part where they have volunteers participate in the water/boat scene. There were some people who volunteered. Then, two days later I go to Animal Kingdom, and I see the same person(s) getting off a ride I'm about to go on.

When arriving to Florida, we see people at the bagage claim who were on our plane. Seven days later, we are back in the airport heading home. Not only do we see the same people in the airport, but they are coming on the exact same flight we are.

More crazy coincidences with strangers at Disneyworld have happened to me, but I won't write them all. It's just so funny because it keeps happening. I'm almost expecting it now, and I'm never let down.

Has this happened to anyone else?

This has happened on many of my families vacations! My mom is a HUGE chatter box and if you are standing next to her in any line you will know her full life story (and she'll know half of yours) before you board the ride! So we meet alot of people on trips to disney, its not unusual or unexpected anymore to see that same family the next day at another park. We just wave, say hello, little chit-chat, u know. What would be really freaky is if we saw the same family everyday at every park, this has never happened to us. Once while watching the fireworks at the magic kingdom this past feb. My mother started talking to the couple next to us and it turns out they live only 10 minutes aways from us! That to me is the coolest, when you meet someone from your hometown on vacation:D.

I though that this was a wicked big coincidence: a couple of years ago, I was in WDW with my family. My boss and his family decided to travel at the same time (last minute). I only knew that they would be in Orlando during the same time frame. We were really surprised to bump into him and his family on our second night in Downtown Disney. That certainly would have been an odd coincidence in itself, but what made it especially weird was the fact that we actually met up again a couple of days later while we were snacking at the Studio Catering Co. adjacent to the Homey I Shrunk the Kids Playground! It was during the high season and everywhere in WDW was crowded/mobbed! It was lucky for me that we were actually friends as well as boss/employee! (We knew each other's families well, and our kids are close in age.) ("Small world":D )

we have had it happen often over the years that we would run in to the same people, but I remember one year we kept running in to this one woman and her little girl .. first at MK then later in the week she was right across from us at the Mickey luau and then that same night there she was with her little girl at the pool. The trouble is trying finding someone (Goofette *grin* ) when you want to!!!!! We were at the same resort, the same time and couldnt seem to find each other :)

It's a bit of a joke that I can't go anywhere without running into people I know. (I have a job where I meet A LOT of people). Every Disney trip EVER (6 of them) I have run into people I know! April 2002, I ran into TWO families from home! One of them was a last minute trip and I didn't know they were even going to Florida.

But the weirdest one was at MGM in April. I was in line waiting to see Buzz and Woody with my family. The CM turned to me and said, "Hey, I know you, you are from Canada ~ I meet you last year!" WOW, that blew my mind!

About 5 years ago, I weighed 210 lbs. I went to a concert with a friend on night. About 6 months ago, I was chatting to a co-worker whom I've know only for a couple of years. He joked about a concert he went to years earlier and said, "You snob, you didn't even say hello!" WOW AGAIN! He didn't even know me 5 years ago and he remembers me from the concert. But that's not all! Since that concert, I lost 80 lbs. I work with him in a fitness club! How the heck did he recognize me?????? IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL! ok ok ok, you know someone would have said it! LOL! S!
