How will I make it to August?

My DW, DD, and I are just on pins and needles, waiting or August to come. I have devoted my energy now, to organizing my DD's 6th birthday party, that will happen the week before the trip. She wants a Disney Theme(of course!), and so I think this may be a good way to channel my energy into designing Disney themed B-Day games, and things like that.

Once again, this site is great, and you all are so helpful.

:) we are planning on going back in August too ..even though we just got home from WDW last Sunday .. I cant stop thinking about going back !!
Hanging out on DC is the only way I can deal with PDD between trips!!

I know what you mean Curtis. My next trip isn't until December, so I feel your pain. It is fun just knowing that you have a trip planned, and you know that you are gonna be there. Hanging out here at DC is a big part of my coping mechanisim.

The Disney B-day party sounds great. Any particular plans, Princesses, Pooh, something like that?

The Birthday will be Mickey and Minnie. She's done the Winnie the Pooh Party, and Disney Pricess party, the last two, so we are going more traditional. Yes, we kind of like Disney..lol. I am a bit of a woodworker, so I've made stands of the various characters, to have at the party, for pictures with the kids, and we have a friend painting them, and I am building some Disney themed birthday party games, like a water gun shooting gallery, with disney villians are the targets, a bean bag toss game, with the Characters faces, and a station where kids can create their own Disney shirts, with paint, etc.....Should be a lot of fun for her...

As for the bday trip, Well we ordered her Guest of Honor Badge, that will come as a birthday gift from Mickey, at her party. We are planning 3 character meals, breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Lunch at Crystal Palace, and dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella's Gala Feast.

That sounds wonderful! August will get here soon. Like all trips to WDW they seem so far away until they have come and gone! We will get a little taste of Disney when we go to Vero this June.

Looking at my clock seems to make the time crawl by!!:cry:

I would say that's a pretty safe bet that they will love it. It really sounds like you are really into it. Just be careful, you daughter will expect you to top it next year. :laugh

Yeah, that's been the mission, each of the last 2 parties...lol. I don't know what we'll do the following year. Maybe just be at WDW on her Birthday...:D

You're a genius! If there is something to top a really cool Disney themed B-day party, it would have to be in WDW on your B-day.

Lucky you Alma!!! I'm counting those days till May.
Then in Sept. it's off to Vegas for my daughter's wedding!!
DH still tells me we still might get to Disney in Nov. Maybe I can hit it big in Vegas!!! LOL Right, like that will ever happen.....
