magical gatherings
I AM WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY DISCOUNTS OR BENEFITS TO SIGN UP FOR MAGICAL GATHERINGS . AND ALSO LOOKING FOR COMMENTS ON POP CENTURY RESORT
WE ARE PLANNING ON GOING BACK TO WDW IN MAY 2005

I cant say if there are any discounts for Magical Gatherings .. I know that at any time specials can pop up.
As for Pop Century, we stayed there from 3/8/04 - 3/13/04 and loved it !! you can read my trip report http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...&threadid=9085 there are others that have stayed there too recently ..and had not so great experience so to get a balance you should read theirs too. http://www.disneycentral.com/forum/s...&threadid=9158

If you have more than 8 people going and you want to have a Magical Gathering, they will give you a number and a group name and a person who is called the Grand Master. You get to choose the group name and the grand master from your group of people.
This person is the one that contacts WDW at a MG phone number. Everything you book like rooms or PS's are connected to this MG number. But everyone in the group gives their own credit card for their rooms. So far it's been fun but there are no discounts that we've been offered (at least that I'am aware of). Everything we have booked is at the regular rate except for the AP room rates we got, but we could have gotten them on our own. They do offer 4 MG outings. 1. A Safari ride at AK and dinner at Tusker house. 2. Illuminations dinner at Odessey (spl) in Epcot. 3. Charater breakfast at Tony's in MK. 4. Wishes fireworks voyage at the MK on Bay lake. All 4 of these are available to anyone on your own. Everyone to their own choice. :D :) Joe

very interesting and sounds like a lot of investagating is in order. Thanks for the info and now I have something to do for the next 10 months.
