Fantasmic Package

We have plans to do the Fantasmic Dinner package and will be eating at Hollywood & Vine. I would like to hear comments on others who have done this and if they feel it was worth doing. I have read that the meal is fine, but does the promised advantage of arriving at the show 10-15 minutes prior really work? We want to use every valuable minute in the park so to not have to wait for over an hour sounds wonderful.

Thanks for any info.
J

We did the Hollywood Brown Derby Fantasmic dinner packgae last year.
It works great!! You are able to get in through a back entrance, like you said, 10 to 15 minutes prior to the show. So no waiting in line!!
We thought it was good enough to do again. This year we are doing H & V also.
Have Fun!!

There is definately an advantage to having this package. I did the package during my Jan/Feb trip and ate at Mamma's. We went to the "special" entrance about 1/2 before show-time and got a seat all the way in the front. It was perfect viewing and minimal waiting. My kind of show. The last time I viewed Fantasmic! in 2000, I waited over an hour in line to get into the theater.

Just a heads-up, when you leave after the show, everyone leaves on the same path. It's very crowded and confusing. Take your young-ones by the hand nad maybe stand aside and wait the crowd out a bit.

I think the package is worth it also but you have to arrive 30 mins. early (not 15). The seats are okay but you wouldn't be guaranteed better seats if you waited in line. I really don't think there is a bad seat there. I'm like you. I don't like to waste my precious park time waiting in line. We also did H&V and it was very good. We would definitely do the H&V package again.

We have used the dinner package twice in the past...once at Mama Melrose and once at H & V. We are doing it again this time around. I do not stand an hour in line for anything ever, so this is the perfect solution for me!

Our family did Mama Melrose, and the food was great. And of course no waiting to get into Fantasmic, but as Dana said it's another story coming out . Everyone leaves the same way.
Good luck!!!:) JOANN
