Epcot Lake
Hi,
My wife and I are watching a Travel Channel program (as I type) on WDW. It's really neat. They just finished a piece on Illuminations. My question is what is the body of water called that lies in the middle of World Showcase and upon which Illuminations is held each nite?? Is it World Showcase Lagoon. It seems almost to simple a name. I know the lake between Boardwalk and the Beach/Yacht Clubs is Crescent Lake, but I don't think that name carries over to Epcot. Thanks in advance. Frank |

Yep, pretty simple, just World Showcase Lagoon. The lagoon, by the way, reaches depths of 15 feet and its water is partially replenished by rainwater that is funneled off Spaceship Earth and delivered to the lagoon by underground pipes.

WDW Bodies of Water would be a great Jeopardy topic! I recently won $20 by knowing the MGM lake is called Echo Lake! But I can't remember the name of the Marketplace lake, or even the Boardwalk/Beach Club/Yacht Club lake... anyone know? (Of course someone knows... someone on DC will have the answer!)
