My last Disney trip was in the summer of 2000....so it will be exactly four years when I go back in July.

My question is-- I purchased four day hopper passes when I went in 2000 and I am SURE I have two days left on these hopper passes.....but I heard that the new hopper passes are plastic and not the paper ones that I have......do I have to get a plastic one, or will the ticket machine thing still take my very old pass(its still in great condition)? I'm just worried something is going to go wrong, have any of you had tickets this old.....I'm sure not

Before you go in the parks,go to Guest relations and ask them if your pass needs to be changed. If it does,they will do it for you.

A couple of weeks ago, we were traveling with my sister, who had a bunch of left over hoppers with one day on them. They were the old paper kind, from about 5 year ago. They worked just like they did when they were brand new. No need to stop by guest services, your passes will be just fine.

Unused days NEVER expire, but if you're unsure of the days you have left then best bet is to go to guest services. They can check things out for you and exchange them for the new tickets if you've got valid days.
They still accept the paper tickets, but we do prefer them to be traded in for the new plastic kind. Boy I sure do wish I had kept some of the old paper ones as a souvenier....oh getting off topic...heh

Anyways just be assured if you have days left on the tickets you'll be fine. We accept them from whenever. I had a friend who had some old park hoppers from when wdw only had 3 parks and they were traded in for new Ph's, so no worries ok? Just have fun!!!!:)

I kept several tickets from 1975, they are A, B, C, D, & E, rides. I keep them just to look at them from time to time and remember the original way WDW was. I also have a map of the MK from 1975. :D :) Joe
