According to Mouseplanet.com, during select days this month, every resort is booked solid.
Seeing as how many visitors are likely younger and without vehicles or too young to rent and the WDW transportation is really quite good, to me that tends to suggest that they're just booked up. Now that you mention it, I also read that the TTC parking lot is getting re-paved. Any evidence of that?

most likely it will start after the next week or 2 the equitment is sitting on the old taxiway across world drive from the TTC, however this week and my guess next week would be the worst possible time to start. I hear they just finished the bus area of the MGM parking lot I haven't been over there Guess I'll have to take a trip and Epcot Got a new parking spot paint job (not sure if they did the whole lot but I hope so the wonder section has earned the nickname "I wonder where the parking lines are". event if it is only used on holidays they should have painted it.

On Mouseplanet.com for the week of April 12-18, 2004, I read:
"…The parks have been packed in the last week, with all parks seeing phased closings begin on various days. It is rumored that some attendance records have been broken." Is that cool or what? They may have broken attendance records! However, I am glad I am not there because that would mean that we would not have been able to get into some of the parks and that would have stunk. But that happens with spring break, and now with more people going to Disney during spring break it will be happening more often.

The parks were definitely packed during that week, I can vouch for that. But we made our way around it pretty well. Got to see and do just about everything we wanted to.

WoW! That is I guess a good thing-bad for those who did not get in, but wonderful that WDW is doing that good now. Hope that the crowds are that good all year.

LOL - I read this w/out looking at original date and almost fell over! We will be there Tues! Sorry to hear it closed but really glad it was weeks ago and not this week!

I am not surprised~
last week was April school vacation for many many schools~ Probably meant that after so many (thousands of people) the park was closed* to any more guests, they filled up to capacity. That happened to us one year. Luckily, we were in the MK~ Pixie dust to everyone~~ |
