Guest of Honor badges?
What are these? Someone mentioned on another post that they must be ordered.
We're celebrating my mom's birthday at WDW, and I know she'd get a kick out of a real WDW guest of honor badge. Are these different from the regular Guest Relations Happy Birthday badges?

They are similar to the badges the CMs wear with your name engraved on them. So she could wear both the Birthday badge/pin and the GOH badge.

They sell something that I *think* are the guest of honor badges (from the descriptions here, it sounds like the same thing) at the first shop past the camera place on the right in MGM (as you look at the hat). If I'm wrong that these are in fact guest of honor badges, and are something else, someone please let me know! :)

Not sure about the MGM location but they are available at the Christmas Shoppe in Downtown Disney. They didn't have much of a selection when I was there on Sunday, I think just the red one. (I also have a light blue and dark blue I purchased on previous trip).

If you go to the Studios 5&Dime Store, you can still get the Mickey version of the GOH badges! I understand they are changing it from the Mickey style, so it would be good to get one now!

At the MGM 5&Dime Store, they are all custom-engraved when you buy them. You hand them a blank badge, write your name on a piece of paper, and come back 20 minutes later to pick up your badge! They are around $6 I think...

I know it is a little expensive, but I just ordered three GOH badges at Gifts of a Lifetime for when we go away. With the names engraved and shipping, it was $29+. I didn't think it was that bad a price (even though you can get them cheaper on site). Now we will have them when we arrive, and it is one more thing I can cross off my list.
