Okay, HE'S IN!!
We got a call and he was selected. Sorry I have been able to get with you guys. So, on wed. we got another call at 2:00, saying , "Be here at Pluto parking at 7:00." We were like, "YES!!" But, we had to get off work, pack clothes, and make reservations at a hotel (Disney All Star Movies..of course) to stay after shooting. We made it down there from Jacksonville and still had time to get birthday presents for my 6 year old son whose birthday was the next morning on thursday (Whew). Keep in mind we have never done anything like this before. We were shuttled to the area behind Town Hall where all the crew was getting things ready to shoot. Carson got his movie clothes on and we were waiting to shuttled into the Magic Kingdom. At 10:30 we were taken into the park from behind Mickey's Toon Town. We walked to the carousel and waited. No one was there and it was pretty neat to the park with no other people walking around. They were still playing Disney Fantasyland music over the speakers. Carson and his other actors were put on the carousel horses. Now, we were told it was going to be for a pirate party but then that didnt happen. So, he was filmed on the horse and it only took about 4 shoots. It was very exciting! From the camera angle, it appeared he was in the middle of the shot. He will be the curly red head in the green jersey type shirt. He was very excited too. The directors were telling them to have fun, and he was.
I just want to say, I love you guys asking about him and wishing him luck. It's very Disney of you all to care about other Disney families. I think it's great to have others to be excited for us as much as we are excited. That's what I love about the ideas and values Walt has inspired in us all.
