Dreams Screensaver

If you go the the Disney Parks website, they have a really cool screensaver you can download for free. While >60% of it is basically advertisement, it intermixes pictures you choose from your computer picture library and mixes them in with it's scenes from WDW, DL or both. I put a bunch of pics of my kids meeting characters, and my DD (3) absolutely LOVES seeing her picture and her siblings on the computer. It is really cool--check it out!!!

Just another ping for this free screen-saver. My DW noticed yesterday it updated itself with new/different 'company' photos of the parks. Too cool!

Here is the link to a section of the Disney Parks page:
Disney Parks | Where Dreams Come True
On the left side of the page you should see a link for videos and "Free Dreams Downloads". It will take you where you can download the screensaver program. Once you install in on your computer, in the screensaver settings page (either from the control panel or desktop, right click, properties) you can identify a folder with YOUR personal photos to mix into the ones the screensaver shows. If you have any other questions, please post them or PM me!

I have the screensaver downloaded that was given to me from another site,but I do not see how to upload my personal pictures.I do not see the link.
Went to properties but still do not see how to do it.

Any suggestions?

We have been using this screensaver for a couple of months now... and they actually added pictures to it form new WDW ads! How did they do that? Anyway, it's so cool to see our pics. It took an entire folder of photos and so we get to see them all... maybe 60 or more of them!

The only drawback to this screensaver is that it is LOUD!!! The music is beautiful, but when it kicks on, I usually jump about a foot in the air!

First, put all the pics you want to use into one folder. Add as many as you like form as many vacations as you like! Don't worryabout sizing. The program sizes them just right.

Then, when you install the screensavr, it will ask you which folder you wish to use. Just type int he name of the new folder, and away you go! Good luck!

I just stumbled across it browsing the disney site. Very Cool. I just grabbed the last set of Photopass shots. I love it.

I might reload it with a more organized folder of disney pictures, unless someone knows how to add photos to it? Is that possible?

Half the photos will be Disney-centric, with quick links to different areas of the DisneyParks website. The other half are your own pics. What I did was create a "Screensaver Photos" folder in my "My Pictures" area, then copy my favorites from our trips into that folder, and tell the screensaver program to look in that folder in its properties settings (Display properties, Screensaver tab, Setting button). You also can select few, medium, or many photos to display when the screensaver is active based upon your computer and its processing speed (I used high and it bogged my system down, so now I use medium without any problems) and if you want Disney-themed music to play when your screensaver is active (it was VERY LOUD compared to my normal computer sounds, so I turned this off).

One thing I've noticed, the Disney-centric photos will periodically update, so it keeps it fresh. We've really enjoyed having this and get fun comments from friends when they are over and see it.
