I know someone who slept in the castle!
One of the little girls in my daughters class has had several brain surgeries this past year to stop seizures. This was in addition to a major on she had last summer on the same day that Emily had hers. She was selected by Make a Wish and somehow ended up staying in the castle. Im so happy for her!

Each year the school district that I work for has a fundraising event for Make A Wish. If we donate $5 we get to wear jeans for a week. I participated and it does my heart
good when I hear news like this.

I cant wait to talk to her mom and see how it all came down. I know it was really hard on them to have her be accepted to Make a wish... it was like admitting that she was as fragile as she really is. She has a twin sister and and older brother so it must have been fun for them all. Im sure they all needed that magic!

the first time i read the title for this thread i gasped and wanted to shriek at the sheer possibility of seeing pics. i thought it was someone from here! but after reading the story, it is so nice that MAW did that for that little girl.
i remember during one trip i was on line to meet Robin Hood and there was a little girl with a MAW t-shirt on. Robin stopped everything to hug this child, sign an autograph and take a picture. it was a really sweet moment to witness.
