How long was it extended for?

I'm hoping I remember reading correctly that it has been extended at least through our vacation time (first week of Oct). Do I have to register somewhere in order to have a chance at being chosen? Or is my package reservation enough? I'm assuming that the more you're in the parks, the higher your chances, yes?

I didn't know it had been extended, but I do know that you only have to be present in the parks to win. All the winners are chosen at random in the parks - no additional effort necessary!

Thanks dznygrl! I think I remember reading that it had been extended through maybe the end of Oct? I don't remember. I'll have to go research some more.

I actually think it's through December but I may be wrong. It usually last a year and a half and it started last Oct.

Like my girl Dizzy said you basically just have to be there to win. We saw people get dreams while tons of people didn't..it's just luck really.

If you go to guest services..or even when you check in to your hotel...and tell them it's your anniversary they give you free anniversary buttons and you can wear them in the parks. You'll get lots of extra attention.

Hooray! I love Disney for the little things like this. Just a little extra attention for those celebrating anything. My sister, for her maybe 10th (?) birthday, woke up and decided she wanted chocolate cake with sprinkles for breakfast. One call to the front desk and the cake was on it's way to our room with a letter from Mickey wishing her a happy birthday and everything!
