I just received an email from Disney. They thanked me for taking the time to apply but they rejected me. I will not be a panel member. Grrrrrrr! Their loss...they dont know what they are passing up, right ? Okay, so maybe they dont care but it makes me feel better saying that...lol

At least they took the time to respond to you. I didn't even get a rejection...annoying. I wonder how long they will be sending these emails out for.

I can't even imagine how many responces they are going to have to send out. I guess it goes in order by when you applied?? who knows. I am still hoping to get picked...it would be SO cool.

We realize it's no easy task just keeping a family moving every day, so we appreciate all the effort you put into your application. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the response we saw and very humbled by the heartwarming stories we read in each of the applications.

With 10,000 moms (and dads!) applying, we had a difficult time narrowing the field to the next round. We personally read every application submitted. While you were not among those selected, we are very grateful that you took the time to enter and share your love for Walt Disney World Resort®.

Because of the incredible passion you and so many others have shown for Walt Disney World Resort®, we've been inspired to explore more concepts for programs -- beyond the Moms Panel -- to engage moms and dads like you who want to share their passion for the Parks. i almost overlooked mine, it was from disney destinations, which i assumed was that disney travel thing (you know, the one that like a tour group thingy it sounded like).
