OK, so here's my video application for "Chief Magic Official"

The deadline is fast approaching to apply for the "Chief Magic Official" & I had come up with several clever ideas to put together. Well, idea #1 got shot down b/c when they starting showing some of the video entries another girl did something VERY similar & I didn't want to seem like I was copying another entrant. Idea #2 would have taken extensive video editing & effects to REALLY make it work & someone else to do all the filming for me.

Sooo, I knew I would have been REALLY dissapointed in myself if I didn't do SOEMTHING so I managed to make a video on my day off today.

It was WAY harder than I thought; trying to edit it down to less than 60 seconds, getting my dog to bark

, not messing up the words, trying to get the pacing right, etc..

To be honest, I KNOW I could have done better. I just realized that I screwed up and called it "the Chief Magical Official" instead of the "Chief MAGIC Official," I had to edit out the part where I introduced my dog by saying, "And here's my friend Cody to tell you that if you vote for me I'll work as hard as I POSSIBLY can to bring Disney dreams & pixie dust to as many guests as possible." It was just over 60 seconds & HAD to edit that part out.

Ugh, I don't know, anyway... I did it, at least. Don't make fun of me [please]!

It provoked me to count them all. Starting in 1993 and to our most current trip there are 57.

And I started going in 1983.

Yikes! I am really thankful I saved them all, I like looking through them and seeing if I can remember all the trips. Unfortunately for many years it DID NOT include the name of the resort you stayed at.

I also saved all my paper tickets, etc. Those are fun!

aww- Jess- so the speech at the podium landed on the cutting floor huh?
Its hard isnt it? One min is just not very long! That was why I did the pictures first and then the words over it- I could get in all of my pics but then tailor what I wanted to say to fit the picture timing. But I agree that you look fun and professional all at the same time- its clear and concise. And its DONE!! I think you did a great job!
