Lost Boy YOMD Event

Hello!

My 5 1/2 year old had a magical event during our April trip. We were walking toward Peter Pan and my son had his Captain Hook T-shirt on. Before I knew it a cast member was walking with us and asking him if he was headed to Peter Pan. My DS, who normally chats non-stop but was a bit shy that morning, didn't want to chat (just kill me

). After we explained this to the Cast Member, they announced that he was the special Lost Boy for the day and gave him a very nice certificate. We also we ushered to the front of the line to ride the ride. The Cast Member was very, very sweet!

It was all very sweet and a perfect example of why YOMD is such a success!

That is such a great idea for a Dream! Now if only I can get the team to catch me while walking past Cinderella Castle and let me stand in for her for the day with Prince Charming!

I'm so excited for all the people who've gotten something during YOMD but I have to say we didn't get any on our last trip and really hope we do for the next. I have to wonder what they will do with the Cinderella Castle Suite when it's done? That's my dream to stay there but I'd take the fast passes too!hehe I can't even imagine what I would do though, it would take everything not to jump out of my own skin!

I think we have all heard of the YOMD "big" ones, but these littles are very cool.

I almost forgot about this one: we were approached by a CM just at the entrance to World Showcase. She showed the kids a map of Epcot and they had to locate a little picture of Stitch on the map. Once they did, she presented them with a magical moments certificate. I am not sure of the significance - I at first thought it was some sort of marketing test - but in either case, the kids enjoyed it.

My kids love the little dreams . . . or "magical moments" . . . I don't know what they'd do if we won a BIG DREAM!!
