I haven't heard, but they keep extending YOMD over and over, so maybe it will hang on a bit longer.

I like YOMD but i think it is time to move on. But they should keep the night in the castle dream going.

I thought I read (or heard) somewhere that YOAMD was ending this year and a new promotion will start next year.

I have no idea what the new "theme" is going to be but I kinda liked the days of no themes or gimicks.
 Before the 50th it had been pretty uneventful for awhile which was cool. Although, I would NOT mind at all if they extended the YoaMDs again b/c it's just been SO popular and spectacular... and my night in the castle still hasn't come yet, so they have to extend it. This coming October will be my last trip during YoaMDs

Actually there is always a celebration. Sometimes it is from Oct to Oct but most of the time it is for 18 months - don't ask me why I have no clue. Most of the celebrations are not a big deal or they do not do a big deal - you can see what celebration it is by the CM nametags
This celebration is the first HUGE one - really have gone all out! The other biggie was the millenium but I think this one is even bigger. |
