What happens to the Castle Suite after the YoaMDs ends? - Page 2

I read awhile back (can't remember where I read it) that the suites will likely turn into VIP suites to be used for business purposes.

This may be a stupid question but what does "DH" stand for? I'm trying to get the hang of some of the MB lingo but can't quite figure this one out. Anyone?

DH is Dear/Darling or Disney Husband

All Disney lovers on the net should start a petition/movement to keep the castle for the people! LOL! Especially all of us who could NEVER afford a stay in a Deluxe let alone the castle!

I agree VIP can already get just about anything they want! Although, Trump just got turned down in Scottland... maybe the tides are changing?

I was thinking the same thing. I would imagine that is what they would do until the next contest or celebration. If they opened it up for the public to book the suite for be booked yeeaaars in advance.

What if they used it for Make A Wish or special contests or such. I agree, seeing it go to only the rich and famous does not seem like what it was intended for. Although, I'm sure they are thinking about how to get revenue out of it.

That would be a great idea. Hopefully, it won't be a VIP suite. I think they should continue YOAMD!

It would be great if they could continue rewarding the suite to unexpected families but as said before it's unlikely

My guide at the Keys to the Kingdom tour told us that they hadn't determined (or weren't allowed to announce

...) what was going to happen to the Castle Suite after YoAMD was over, but that they would never sell the suite. Disney wants the suite to remain "priceless" and have turned down many high-price bids to stay in the castle.

I hope it continues to stay random. Or maybe a drawing of some sort.

Wish, I wasn't going to say anything (I know how jealous you can be) but they are turning it into my personal residence.

That would be really cool idea. Many of our wish kids stay at Give Kids the World Village which is a VERY special and magical place in itself. (Check out their link in my signature!)

Disney trips make up about HALF of all MAW requests and they are ALWAYS magical, but can you imagine if they were able to send a different family every night to stay in the castle? That would really be some Disney Magic!!!

I love that idea of the Make a Wish and others special things like that. I'm sure almost all if not all those kids would have a dream fullfilled in that manner.
